Title:

WDSC 5.1: How to Integrate and Streamline RPG and Web Development

Speakers:

Phil Coulthard, iSeries Software Architect, IBM
Chris Nickchen, Project Manager, New Penn Motor Express
Ray Bernardi, Solutions Architect, SoftLanding Systems

Time:

Tuesday, October 28, Noon - 1:00 EST (New York)

Join WebSphere experts Phil Coulthard (IBM), Chris Nickchen (New Penn), and Ray Bernardi (SoftLanding Systems) for a real-world look at the newly-improved WebSphere Development Studio (WDSC) and its third-generation change management plug-ins. This interactive 1-hour Webcast gives you a proven roadmap to reduce the time, risk, and chaos involved in Web development.

Learn how New Penn has used WDSC and CM plug-ins to reduce the complexity of managing sophisticated multi-platform Web applications that are built over RPG-based business logic. Also, see how CM plug-ins can improve developer productivity and extend past traditional source and version control to manage your entire development process — so you can easily coordinate RPG, Java, WebFacing, and other Web components; create test environments; and automate deployment even for multi-platform Web applications.

  • Hear how New Penn has successfully used WDSC and its CM plug-ins to simplify the management of dynamic multi-platform Web applications built over RPG business logic
  • See how WDSC consolidates all the tools that simplify development of traditional and Web applications, RPG-to-Web projects, and maintenance tasks
  • Learn about the significant performance improvements in WDSC 5.1
  • Discover how to automate deployment even for multi-platform Web applications
  • Check out advances in RPG and Web change management plug-ins that improve developer productivity from within WDSC, such as a new Compile Wizard and ILE Procedure Cross-referencing
  • Learn how you can optimize your current development infrastructure to handle any Web technology you choose, from XML to Java to WebFacing
  • Find out how you can get your free copy of WDSC 5.1, and how to get free plug-ins

If you manage RPG or Web developers, this could be the most important Webcast you attend this year. View Recording Now.
