Customize Menu Processing
Several Exit programs are available to control items like option availability on a Division basis, to create job descriptions when enrolling new users, and to alter screen displays to support Radio Frequency terminals.
Exit Points
Additional exit points allow you to programmatically control copy requests at the option, user, submenu, or division level.

CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 Menu/Option Management
Create Main Menus For Each User Or Group
For easy management, enroll new users from templates then customize menus as needed. Each individual's main menu displays their user name and only those options approved for their use.
Work With Active Jobs
Administrators can view a job and see the active users associated with the job, or conversely view an individual active user and see the current job they are in. Administrators can use this feature to interactively respond to problems, or obtain a list of active users at a moment's notice for unscheduled shutdowns, or simply monitor the workflow of a new employee.
Option Scheduling
Set up options so that they can only be run on certain days, or times within the day.
Use Group Options and Fkeys for Faster Administration
Menu options and function keys can be grouped according to job classification or other criteria and then assigned to one or more users in a class. Make a change to an option or Function Key group and everyone with that group is immediately updated.
Automate Library List Management By Option
Eliminate library list problems by defining a unique library list to be used for each option and specifying whether CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 should replace or add to the current list.
Option Changes Immediately Available
Change, add, or delete any option or option group—all enrolled users who have the individual option or option group will be immediately updated with the latest changes.
Automate OUTQ Assignment by Option
The output queue of the user's job will be changed so that output generated during the running of the option will be directed to the appropriate output queue.
External Access To Menu and Options
We supply APIs to access CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 menus, submenus, and options; assign or remove option groups; and delete users from CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 as they leave the company.
Create Submenus
Create submenus (up to 9 levels deep) the same way main menus are created. Submenus can call submenus, and you can customize a submenu for any user. Submenus can use different option names or numbering for the same program registered in the option master file.
Other Submenu Enhancements
CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 allows you to designate on which row/column of a submenu an option will appear, view the referenced master file option when maintaining submenu option, and view a user's customized submenu.
Sequencing Authority
When viewing the options in the masterfile, they can be sorted by sequence value.

Enhanced Security System
Control Access To Your Systems
With personalized menus, you give users only what they need. Only the menu administrators can access CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 files. Command lines can be restricted. Allow access only at particular times and enforce periodic password changes too.
Limit Access for Individuals Within Groups
Even if you assign options using the option group feature, you can customize a menu for any user within the group. Update the user's option assignments and omit the reference to the group, then exclude any option from the list.
Work with Active Jobs
Administrators can now view a list of active users and the applications they are associated with. This allows administrators to fix problems in a live/active environment. In situations that call for an unplanned shutdown, administrators can determine who is currently active, notify the user to log off, and (if needed) log the user off and lock the option during fixes or shutdown.
Lock Out Divisions
CENTRAL® for iMenu v100 gives the administrator the option to lock-out divisions and set up separate libraries and options for each.
Prevent Suspension From Sensitive Options
Sometimes an option, once selected, requires the user to complete a task. You can prevent users from suspending any individual option.
Prevent Sign-Off From Sensitive Options
You can condition any option to prevent users from signing off while that option is suspended and active.
Disconnect Job Feature
i5/OS disconnect job feature and session time-out is fully supported.
Locked Options & Status Indicator
If an option is locked (perhaps because an application sub-system is down), an asterisk will immediately be displayed next to the option code on users' menus showing that the option is not available. You can also prevent the user from running or re-entering an option once they have suspended or exited from it.
