Announcing Our Latest CDs!

We released three new CDs recently. We want you to stay current with our software releases, so please order your CD or download the ISO image from our support site for the products you own. A description of these CDs follows.

TurnOver Release 5.3 and 5.4 CDs

As most of our customers know, we generate new CDs for TurnOver on a quarterly basis. The September version for TurnOver Release 5.4 contains approximately 90 completed tasks, several of which fall into the category of UI improvements for both the plug-ins and 5250 interface.

In the TurnOver 5.4 plug-ins, we introduced an Eclipse feature to "pin" views. If you pin a worklist view, for instance, it remains open until you deliberately close it – even if you open a new worklist. Another advantage of pinned views is that when you close and reopen the client, those views are automatically reconnected and populated at startup!

The December CD for TurnOver is also available. In addition to other enhancements and fixes in this release, we modified TurnOver's *IFSFTP distribution to support Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) over the secure protocol Secure Shell (SSH). Secure Shell (SSH) is an Internet information transfer protocol in the form of a client program that allows you to log into another computer over a network, execute commands in a remote machine, and move files from one machine to another. It provides strong authentication and secure communications over unsecure channels.

LanTurn Release 5.4 CD

This new release of LanTurn, our TurnOver/LANSA interface, includes support for LANSA 11.0 (LANSA 2005) object types such as WAMs (Web Application Modules), Weblets, and Technology Services. For more information, refer to the LanTurn 5.4 Memo to Users, located on our customer support site.

Important: LanTurn 5.4 requires that you also load the TurnOver 5.4 September CD.

TurnOver PDQ Release 4.4 CD

This new release of PDQ updates Lakeview’s OEM Promoter portion of the product to level SP072, in addition to providing a couple of maintenance fixes. For more information, refer to the TurnOver PDQ 4.4 Memo to Users, located on our customer support site.
