Subversion Documentation

The Subversion community has produced several good user guides, some of which are published as open source.

For a great introduction to Subversion -- especially Chapter 2 -- we recommend that you read Version Control with Subversion. We thank the authors, Ben Collins-Sussman, Brian W. Fitzpatrick, and C. Michael Pilato, for making this book freely available to all of us.

Another great freebie, available from Tigris.org, is TortoiseSVN: A Subversion client for Windows. This book, generously contributed to the open source community by Stefan Küng, Lübbe Onken, and Simon Large, contains an excellent Daily Usage Guide section.
