About the Speakers

Jef Sutherland

Don Yantzi is the technical lead for modernization and Web programming model tools in WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries. He works at the IBM Toronto Lab and has been actively involved in the design and development of the Remote System Explorer. Don is a frequent speaker at iSeries user group meetings and conferences.


George Voutsinas

George Voutsinas joined IBM in 1993 on the RPG compiler team. He went on to work on CODE/400, VisualAge for Java, C++ compiler, and C++ runtime. More recently, George developed the WebFacing user interface and helped develop the Remote System Explorer in today's WDSC product. Today he works in the System i application development area as the manager for WebFacing and Web tools.


David Muir

David Muir is the manager for System i5 compilers and application development tools at the IBM Software Lab in Markham, Ontario. David has been involved in technical writing and software development for almost two decades, and has been with IBM since 1992.


Steve Gapp

Steve Gapp, President and CEO of SoftLanding Systems, started his career as an RPG developer. He quickly moved on to manage large-scale RPG-based projects, ERP system implementations, and application modernization projects. He spent 17 years directing an iSeries-based systems integration company before assuming his leadership role at SoftLanding. Steve is frequently quoted in the iSeries press on topics relating to application developments.
