SUPERMON® for iSeries v100 Windows-based PC interface, enables you to:
- View performance data for multiple systems concurrently.
- View multiple resources for one or more systems concurrently.
- Build graphical presentations from list panels.
Graphical presentation
- Generate graphs from the extensive selection of pre-defined charts in SUPERMON® for iSeries v100.
- Optionally, create your own examples from any of the performance data collected.
- Tailor and produce your graphs in 2D or 3D line, ribbon and bar chart format, as required.
- Show resources from multiple servers on the same graph.
- Save graphs to disk for historical reference and for use in the Presentation Workshop.
- Print all graphs on any Windows-supported printer.
- Increase the choice of how graphs are displayed.
- SUPERMON® for iSeries v100 provides links to other software packages including MS Excel.

Presentation workshop
- Group up to six graphs on a single page for management reporting using the Presentation Workshop.

The 'Advisor'
- Simplify the task of interpreting data using the 'Advisor'.
- Make informed decisions to improve System i system performance. The 'Advisor' analyzes performance data over a given date and time range for one or more System i systems and makes recommendations about how to effect improvements in System i performance.

High CPU monitor
- Set the High CPU Monitor to detect interactive and batch jobs using excessive CPU automatically.
- Prevent offending jobs from creating performance problems. The priority of these jobs can be altered dynamically and automatically, alleviating further performance problems and enabling Operations staff to become pro-active. This facility is fully tailorable.
- Full on-line information on jobs detected is available, highlighting the functions being performed by the offending program.

Additional data monitoring
- Monitor object locking for the whole system via the Lock Analysis facility. This job is run at user-specified times. All reports can be accessed on-line from the System i server or via the Graphical Presentation Manager on the PC.
- Monitor communications line performance data, resource usage by user-defined user groups and I/O processor utilization, as required.
